BEEN A WHILE

Pole ammu kirjutanud.
Lisaks on tohutult mööda Eestit jooksmist paberimajandusega, autokoolis on vaja ära teha libedasõit ja kõige pingelisem on detsembri lõpus eesootav TOEFL inglise keele test.

// Haven't written here for a long time. I learned that in January we're moving close to Malmö, to Trelleborg and I'm going to apply to nearby universities in Malmö and Lund. Lund is the world's 67th university, so getting in there will be my priority.

December will be really busy. In the coming week, we eventually are able to go home, to Estonia. I've promised to go to parties with all of my girlfriends and of course, there is Christmas and New Year's Eve. In addition to the huge amount of paperwork to run around Estonia, driving school needs to be done and the most hardest part is the TOEFL English test I need to take at the end of December.

Lately, we've been enjoying the last weeks in Norrköping. Been a few times to the cinema, have ate huge amounts of sushi, have walked around and went shopping a lot. Eventually purchased the Moroccanoil hair oil, and it is a miracle. How have I lived without it? Dry hair is soft as silk, shiny and full of life.

Red blouse from BikBok, white top from Gina Tricot and Moroccan oil

ON ITS WAY:

Finally found a dress for New Year's Eve. It's from nelly.com. I wanted the silver one, but both XS and XXS were sold out so quickly.

NOVEMBER, 6

  Yummy!!

//  Today we woke up too late again. We plan to wake up at 9 o'clock every morning, but lately it somehow does not come off, and we still wake up between 11:30 to 12:00. I decided to have a late breakfast and try banana-pancakes for the first time. I found the recipe from my favorite blog (Janni Deler). Since I'm not good at cooking I was happy that they came out perfect.

All you need is just one banana, two eggs, and salt.

Chop banana into small pieces, add two eggs in the same bowl and add a little salt. Mix it all and fry from both sides. Don't fry them at high temperature because they tend to over cook quickly and they get ready really fast.

I also added some chopped apple and frozen berries on them and poured a little sugar.

ABOUT GROWING MY HAIR

Juukseõlid on minu jaoks asendamatud. Hiljuti sai mul otsa juuksuri poolt soovitatud Schwarzkopfi BC Oil Miracle juukseõli ning suundusin kaubamajja juuksuritoodete poodi. Sealt leidsin õli nimega Matrix Exquisite Oil, mida saab kanda ööseks otstele niisutuseks, kasutada enne šampoonitamist, kasutada soengu viimistlemiseks kuivadel juustel ja kanda niisketesse juustesse.

Matrix Exquisite Oil

// I'm trying to grow my hair about 10-15cm. I'm constantly looking for tips from the Internet and I always try to get as much information from my hair stylist as possible. My hair is really dry because it's naturally wavy and I've lightened my hair for years now. So my main goals are moisturising my hair and feeding them with vitamins and protein. I've consistently followed my hairstylists tips:

1) At least once a week I leave olive oil, castor oil or moisturising conditioner in my hair overnight and wash it off in the morning.
2) I try to add as much stuff in moist hair as possible (e.g. serum by Paul Mitchell, different oils for hair)
3) i ALWAYS use heat protect before blow-drying, straightening or using curlers.
5) I try to avoid straightening my hair.

Last time at the hairdressers I cut my ends a lot and I've successfully grown back the previous length and fast. If I continue following these tips then maybe I will have really long hair in Spring. If not, then I'll probably find out more about extensions. At least I'm lucky to have really thick hair, so extensions would look great.

Lately I read an article on how to wash your hair properly. Who would have known that having hair longer than shoulders expects conditioning before shampooing?

Hair oils are irreplaceable. I ran out of Schwarzkopf BC Miracle Oil which my hairdresser recommended for me and I wanted something new. So I headed to a store which sells only hair salon products and found an oil named Matrix Exquisite Oil. You can add this oil on your ends for the night, use it before shampooing, use it on dry hair without leaving it greasy and you can also use it in moist hair. I used it for the first time and I'm already satisfied with the results. Dry ends seem healthy and soft and it's great with other hair products.

ABOUT MERYL'S BLOG

Welcome to my Lifestyle & Fashion Blog!

My name is Meryl Mägi, 22 years old, born and raised in Estonia and currently living and studying in Lund
University, Sweden. The world of fashion and beauty captivates me, but I also have passion and love for animal
protection, friends and family & football. My goal is to study and live in a lot of different places, because I always think about that old lady Meryl that will one day look back at her life and that is exactly what I would like her to see.

My boyfriend is a professional footballer, so therefore for the last years, my life has been basically unpredictable (a LOT of moving). He is my endless motivation and happiness in each day. I decided to 'settle down' in Sweden with him and apply for university. Although I knew he might leave Sweden at any point because of his career, I fell in love with this country and it wasn't long until I became fond of Swedish street style and fashion bloggers and therefore decided to start my very own blog.

Now I have my biggest share of audience from both Sweden and Estonia and some lovely projects and collaborations behind me. Even though the blog is focused more on fashion and my personal style, you can also find plenty of beauty tips and read about my daily life as a student and everything that goes on in my world. What I hope the most is that you can find a huge share of inspiration out of my blog!
